7/10/2025: Warm and muggy with afternoon storms
The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologists Matt Mackie and Kevin Appleby:
Warm and muggy today with high temperatures in the low to mid 80's for most. Clouds will give way to pop up downpours and thunderstorms this afternoon.
A couple of these storms could be strong to severe. Gusty winds are possible with the very strongest storms. Localized flooding is also a concern with these slow moving pockets of heavy rain. Small hail, while less of a concern, can't be ruled out either.
Showers and storms wind down after sunset tonight. Expect more mugginess with overnight lows down into the 60's.
Friday features slightly lower storm chances - consequently, slightly more sunshine will help us warm a little more, into the mid our upper 80's.
That trend continues into the day Saturday, with highs near 90 and the vast majority of the area staying dry.
Humidity looks especially high on Sunday, and shower and storm chances are up for both that day and the following Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday look dry, but still quite toasty and steamy.
