Harper was placed on the injured list with right wrist inflammation on Saturday, June 7, retroactive to Friday, June 6.
Manager Rob Thomson hopes Harper progresses to taking batting practice in the cages on either Tuesday or Wednesday, June 25. Does he need a certain amount of swings before returning to the lineup? Aaron Nola (stress fracture in right rib)
Status: 60-day injured list
Aaron Nola’s puzzling stint on the injured list has continued with no clear end in sight. After originally being sidelined with a sprained right ankle in May, Nola now has a stress fracture on the right side of his ribcage, the pitcher clarified. Phillies manager Rob Thomson initially announced the injury as a stress reaction.
Nola played catch in the batting cages on Sunday, June 22. The Phillies are hoping he can play catch outside “from a distance” on Tuesday, June 24.
