Drunken husband kills wife over constant mobile phone use in Karnataka; accused arrested
In Hiriyana village, Brahmavar taluk, a tragic incident occurred where an intoxicated husband, Ganesh Poojari, murdered his wife, Rekha, due to her excessive mobile phone usage. Fueled by alcohol and anger, Poojari attacked Rekha with a knife at their home around 11:30 pm. Police have arrested Poojari, and he will face charges under sections 103 and 351(2) BNS in court.
