Cindy Young is more than a grandmother, a healer, and a spiritual guide—she is a survivor. At just 18 months old, she lived through a plane crash that claimed her mother’s life. That unimaginable loss planted the seeds of resilience in her soul, and those seeds grew into a life rooted in service, peace, and spiritual leadership.
But today, at 67 years old, Cindy faces a different kind of crash—one orchestrated not by fate, but by a political regime eager to silence those who dare to stand in their truth.
Like so many others, she attended the January 6th protest peacefully. She believed in the right to petition her government and to be heard. For that act of faith and patriotism, Cindy was vilified, prosecuted, and targeted. She lost her small business, spent years battling in court, and became another name on the long list of Americans the government sought to crush for dissent.
Despite all of this, Cindy—known affectionately in her community as “Yellow Butterfly”—has never stopped believing in hope or the power of truth. But now, she needs our help.

“I am a giving woman who has helped those who have been down in life to find their power, believe in themselves and to move forward through their own personal difficulties,” she writes on her fundraiser page. “It is now in the most difficult time of my life that I am asking for your support.”
Cindy isn’t just raising money for herself. She’s been a consistent supporter of other J6ers—even while facing her own battles. She lent strength to those in prison, lifted spirits, and extended the same grace and wisdom she’s known for throughout her life.
She has also started a podcast—J6 from the Heart—to speak truth, offer clarity, and continue the mission of healing and exposure.
This is what makes her situation so heartbreaking: a woman who has given so much now stands on the brink of losing everything—her home, her business, and her financial security—not because of any crime of violence, but because she stood tall, peacefully, in her convictions.
Let’s be clear: this is not a legal defense fundraiser. Cindy’s trial is behind her. She was sentenced and later pardoned, but the aftermath lingers. This is about rebuilding a life that was shattered. It’s about dignity. It’s about solidarity.
