Chris Robinson Dead - 'General Hospital' & 'Bold & The Beautiful' Actor Dies at 86
Chris Robinson has sadly died.
The actor, best known for his role as Dr. Rick Webber on General Hospital and Jack Hamilton on The Bold & The Beautiful, passed away at the age of 86 on June 9, his friend actor MJ Allen confirmed on social media.
“He peacefully passed in his sleep at his ranch near Sedona, Arizona,” the actor wrote on Facebook, adding: “He had been in heart failure for some time, and is his official cause of death.”

Chris got his Hollywood start in Sea Hunt, Death Valley Days, 77 Sunset Strip, Gunsmoke and The Fugitive.
He then landed his first major role in ABC military drama 12 O’Clock High, playing Sgt. Alexander “Sandy” Komansky.
Chris went on to star in The Man from UN.C.L.E., Hogan’s Heroes, Medical Center, Barnaby Jones and many other TV shows before joining ABC’s General Hospital in 1978 as Dr. Rick Webber.
He became famous for the “I’m Not a Doctor, But I Play One on TV” commercials for Vicks Formula 44 as well.
He later played Jason Frame on NBC’s Another World, and then Jack Hamilton on CBS’ B&B. More recently, he starred in the indie Just for a Week. Above, you can watch the actor speak about his experience with chronic pain and finding relief with CBD.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Jacquie; sons Shane, Coby, Christian, Taylor, Christopher Robinson, Christopher Lance and Robb Walker; and five grandchildren. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
