Eunice armed robbery suspects named; investigation ongoing
EUNICE, La. (KLFY) -- The two individuals responsible for the early morning robbery on May 17 have been identified, police said.
Police said they have issued felony arrest warrants for armed robbery for Marlon Keith Brown, 18, of Alexandria, and Douglas Charles Thornton, 19, of Baton Rouge.
According to authorities, on Saturday around 2:30 a.m. the men took the victim’s graduation money (approximately $800 in cash), cell phone and driver’s license before allegedly pointing the firearm at his chest but not firing.
The two individuals then allegedly ran from the area of South Second Street , heading north. There were no reported injuries, police said.
The incident is still under investigation.
