Man beaten to death on Bronx street: sources

THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) --- A man died after he was found beaten on a Bronx street last weekend, according to police and sources.
A passerby found the victim near Elliot Place and Walton Avenue in Mt. Eden and called 911 at around noon on Sunday, police and sources said.
The man was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved, cops said. The medical examiner ruled his death a homicide on Thursday.
There have been no arrests.
It was unclear what prompted the violence.
