Lafayette man arrested with over 10 pounds of crystal meth
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) - A Lafayette man is under arrest for multiple charges involving illegal narcotics.
The charges stem from an investigation conducted by Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Agents which led to the discovery of more than 10 pounds of Crystal Methamphetamine.
Narcotics Agents executed a search warrant in the 2100 block of West Willow St. Thursday evening. During the search, approximately 4,635 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, a firearm, a metal hydraulic brick press and more than $5,000 was located.
Lee Allen Gary, Jr., 32, was arrested and charged with Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances, Possession of Firearms by a Person Against whom a Protective Order is Issued, Monies Derived from Transactions Involving Drug Proceeds and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Gary was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on the aforementioned charges. This case remains under investigatio
