Prosper Portland's Mitch Daugherty on setting the stage for the city's comeback

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- We're all in with trying to be a catalyst in Portland's comeback.

This is just one part of KOIN and Portland's CW's Positively Portland campaign.

It's not to diminish the issues that Portland still faces - from homelessness to public safety, to a big budget deficit the mayor and City Council are dealing with as we speak.

But it's an acknowledgement that we have resources - especially motivated people - who want to make Portland what we know it can be. Further, small businesses, especially in the central city, can help lead that comeback.

Mitch Daugherty manager of Prosper Portland's new Office of Small Business, joined Eye on Northwest Politics to talk the campaign that's putting Portland's future front and center, as well as how small businesses can help lead that comeback.
