Aldi launches new range of Le Creuset dupes for Father’s Day – including iconic Dutch Oven for £189 less

ALDI is launching a new range of Le Creuset dupes just in time for Father’s Day – and prices start from just £19.99.

The annual event to celebrate the father figures in our lives is now just weeks away, with many Brits likely scrambling to find the perfect gift to show their dad how much they care.

Dad’s can be extremely tricky to buy for, but if yours loves cooking up a storm in the kitchen, Aldi has the perfect offerings, at bargain prices!

Arriving on shelves from June 1, is a Cast Iron Roaster available in a selection of on-trend matte colours, including grey, green and blue.

The dishes are perfect for making Sunday roasts, or cooking pasta bakes and are priced at just £19.99.

In comparison, Le Creuset’s roasting dish’s retail for £62, making the Aldi buy over £40 cheaper.

Also hitting Aldi shelves in June is the 22cm Cast Iron Dutch Oven, which is also priced at £19.99.

The cooking pot is also available in grey, green and blue and is suitable for all ovens.

Aldi said: “Whether a seasoned chef or a weekend grill master, Dad can create everything from hearty stews to crusty breads.

“Available in a selection of NEW matte colours – grey, green, or blue, it’s suitable for all stoves and is oven safe up to 250 degrees Celsius.”

The Dutch oven is an absolute bargain, especially when compared with Le Creuset’s Cast Iron Round Casserole dish, which retails for £209.

The Le Creuset product comes with a heat resistant knob and can be used in the oven, grill or on the hob.

Another bargain but that is bound to bring a smile to your dad’s face on June 15th is the Drew & Cole Sandwich Maker.

The £24.99 Aldi bargain is the perfect tool for making toasted sandwiches with ease.

Simply add bread and your favourite fillings, such as ham and cheese, to the central cooking pan, add another slice of bread on top, and cook for five minutes.

“With a sleek, space-saving design and a classic black finish, it’s the gift that keeps on giving”, Aldi said.

When's the best time to shop at Aldi?

WHEN it comes to shopping at Aldi, the best time to do so depends on what you want to buy.

For reduced items – when shops open

Red sticker items are rare at Aldi’s 830 UK stores, but the supermarket says that none of its food goes to waste so there are some to be found – if you’re quick.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: “All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates.”

That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens.

Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store’s times by using the supermarket’s online shop finder tool.

For Specialbuys – Thursdays and Sundays

Specialbuys are Aldi’s weekly collection of items that it doesn’t normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools.

New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.

For an even better chance of bagging the best items, head there for your local store’s opening time.

Remember: once they’re gone, they’re gone, so if there’s something you really want, visit as early as possible

Gadget loving dads will be jumping for joy after receiving Aldi’s £24.99 Beer Dispenser.

The product, which quickly sold out last time it hit shelves, transforms ordinary canned beer into a draught experience, transforming your living room into the local pub.

Plus, it’s £44 cheaper than a similar product sold on Amazon.

And if your dad is a sport fanatic, the £34.99 Golf Pong Set is bound to keep him entertained this Father’s Day.

The kit contains a 6mm artificial putting green with non-slip backing, golf balls and hole covers.

It can be used both indoors and outside, and is guaranteed to provide hours of fun.
