"We love our brothers and sisters in the Republic of Azerbaijan with all our hearts, we love them and we consider them our own." These were the words of President Masoud Pezeshkian of Iran in an interview With Azerbaijan's state television on Monday, hours before his visit to Baku. Stressing the development of cooperation with neighbors, Pezeshkian considered this goal one of the priorities of the Islamic Republic in its policy towards neighbors.
