Colonie PD searching for man wanted on weapons possession

LATHAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Colonie Police Department is searching for a man they said was involved in an altercation at a Latham motel on April 21.

Police said George Young was in possession of a 9mm ghost gun at the Monte Mario. They said the gun had a 30-round extended magazine that was loaded with 26 rounds.

The 38-year-old fled the scene and left the weapon behind. He is wanted by Colonie police for felony weapons possession.
