Pittsfield man dies after being struck by car
PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- A man has died after he was struck by a car Monday afternoon. The collision took place around 2:38 p.m. on Barker Road in the city of Pittsfield.
Police said Shawn Ouillette, 62, was walking north on Barker Road when he was struck by a Lincoln Town Car also traveling north. He was taken to Berkshire Medical Center where he later died.
Barker Road was closed between South Mountain Road and Tamarack Road for about two hours before reopening.
