Nicola Coughlan Stuns in Two Incredible Dresses Canneseries Festival, Explains Why She Speaks Out on Important Issues

Nicola Coughlan is wowing with her latest red carpet looks!

The 38-year-old Bridgerton actress was a special guest at the 2025 Canneseries International Festival on Monday (April 28) at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Nicola had a handprint ceremony to kick off her day and she participated in a conversation about her acting career and her activism. Later in the night, she walked the pink carpet!

During her conversation, Nicola explained why it’s important to her to speak out on important issues, even when other famous people aren’t.

“[With] any actor speaking on any cause, there’s a certain sense that it’s better if you say nothing, and that’s why most actors don’t say anything,” she said (via Deadline). “I get that: It is our job to entertain you and be in a show, film or play and do the thing, so I totally see how it can be difficult and why people advise not to do these things.”

“It’s in my bones a little bit. [My father] spent a lot of his life traveling to places, trying to help people,” she added.

Last week, Nicola made her red carpet debut with her boyfriend!
