What began as creeping fascism during Trump's first presidency, accelerated to a mad dash toward full-fledged fascism in his second regime. The similarities of Trump's first 100 days to those of Hitler's are striking and chilling, with one big difference: the Resistance. Whereas democracy in Germany was dead and buried by May 1933, democracy in America today, though badly wounded, has been kept alive by a growing Resistance.
