Why CBS Aired That Awkward Jordon Hudson Interjection During Boyfriend Bill Belichick's 'Sunday Morning' Interview, According to One Expert
Many have a lot of questions about Bill Belichick’s relationship with girlfriend Jordon Hudson after their awkward interview moment went viral.
If you didn’t see, the 73-year-old legendary NFL coach and “The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football” author appeared on CBS’ Sunday Morning alongside his 24-year-old girlfriend, and they were asked how they met.
Jordan interjected from the side, saying, “We’re not talking about this.”

Pro Football Talk’s creator and owner Mike Florio got some details, and wrote about it in a piece published by NBC Sports.
Mike wrote, “It wasn’t, we’re told, the only time she interjected. While we don’t know the total number of interruptions, it’s our understanding that CBS decided to include that one specific instance because it wasn’t a one-time thing. Some outlets would have ended the interview and refused to run it.”
He added about how involved Jordan appears to be, “But it’s unprecedented, for any high-level football coach, to have a family member/significant other who isn’t employed by the program to be so intimately connected to it. And it’s precisely the kind of thing that Belichick, in past years, would have mercilessly mocked.”
The two reportedly met on a flight in February 2021, and sparked romance rumors in January 2023. They went public in June 2024 and made their red carpet debut six months later.
Jordon previously hit back at critics of their 48-year age gap.
