New sushi spot opening in Schenectady
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Dharma Sushi & Grill is getting ready to open its doors in Schenectady. The restaurant is having its grand opening on May 1 at 1754 State Street.
This is owner Hui Chen's first restaurant. "When I was scouting locations for my first restaurant, I focused on finding a place for the kind of dining experience I wanted to create," Chen told NEWS10. "Within a five-mile radius, I noticed there weren't many options for Japanese cuisine. Since I’ve always loved Japanese food, I thought—why not bring my own creative twist on it to the community?"
The Dharma Sushi & Grill menu features salad, soup, sushi, fried rice, noodle dishes, hibachi, and more. You can view the full menu on the restaurant's website.
To celebrate the grand opening, guests can get 10% off with a $50 or more purchase, 20% off with a $100 or more purchase, and a free appetizer when dining in. The promotion is valid from May 1 to 15.
According to its website, Dharma Sushi & Grill will be open Monday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
