Man dies at hospital after downtown Portland shooting; no arrests

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A man died at a local hospital after being shot the night before in downtown Portland, authorities announced Monday.
Police say officers found a man who had been shot after responding to the scene after 10 p.m. on Sunday near South Harbor Drive and South Harrison Street. The suspect or suspects had fled the scene before officers arrived, according to Portland police.
The man, who has not been publicly identified by police, was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Detectives learned the man died on Monday.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact police.
The investigation is ongoing.
