'Schumer needs to go': Democrat mocked by the left after sending Trump a 'strong letter'
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) was mocked from his own side of the political aisle on Sunday after proclaiming he sent a "very strong letter" to President Donald Trump.
Schumer over the weekend appeared on CNN, where he was asked about Trump's attacks on Harvard. As for his response, Schumer claimed the following:
"We sent him a very strong letter just the other day asking eight very strong questions."

Timothy Bellman, a self-described "political junkie," said, "We need a new leader in the Senate."

Podcaster Jim Stewartson also replied, saying, "Schumerletter with eight very strong questions.' Susan Collins should sue him for plagiarism."
Liberal veteran Travis Matthew replied with, "Schumer are complicit to Trump’s actions. 'We sent him a very strong letter' Schumer needs to go."
Attorney Aaron Regunberg said, "Schumer having no idea what we’re up against and what kind of response is required — he sent Trump a very strong letter
"Move over Mitch McConnell, Dems finally have someone ready to use our leverage to meet the moment," he then added.
Melanie D'Arrigo, the executive director of Campaign for New York Health, said Sunday, "cannot defeat fascism with strongly worded letters and a brief questionnaire."
