Suspect in Kim Kardashian Robbery Case Dies Just Before Trial
There is a shocking development ahead of Kim Kardashian‘s robbery case.
Before the trial, in which Kim is set to testify regarding the 2016 gunpoint robbery in Paris, one of the key suspects reportedly died, via TMZ.
Marceau Baum-Gertner died on March 6 in Paris, via Daily Mail. His cause of death is not yet known.

The 72-year-old suspect was accused of working alongside a gang that held the 44-year-old The Kardashians star at gunpoint in the $10 million heist in 2016.
Marceau had refused to name others involved in the robbery during pre-trial interrogations, via TMZ. There was reportedly a possibility he would name names as a way of getting less prison time.
Kim is going to take the stand at the trial in May.
Yunice Abbas, 71, has publicly acknowledged his participation in the heist, and is among the 10 suspects facing charges including armed robbery and kidnapping.
“I will apologize,” he told The Associated Press.
“I mean it sincerely.”
He said he acted as a lookout at the reception area on the ground floor. He was arrested in January 2017 and spent 21 months in prison before being released under judicial supervision. In 2021, he co-wrote a book, I Sequestered Kim Kardashian.
The following morning after the robbery, a passerby found a diamond-encrusted cross in the street and handed it to police, but that was the only jewel from the robbery that was ever recovered.
French justice estimated the stolen items to be worth $6 million in total, via NBC.
