Former Albany bus aide pleads guilty to child sex abuse
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Schenectady man pleaded guilty in Albany County Court on Friday for sexually abusing a child.
The Albany County District Attorney's Office said Ynnad White, 35, pleaded guilty to first-degree criminal sex with the victim being under the age of 11. While working as a bus monitor in Albany, between March 1 and June 17, 2021, White admitted to initiating contact with a 7-year-old boy on the bus.
The DA's office said White is facing a possible sentence of 11 years in prison, 20 years of probation, and he will have to register as a sex offender once he is released. White is scheduled to be sentenced on July 16.
