Man released on own recognizance after allegedly stealing over $100K in property from former employer
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A man was arraigned and released on his own recognizance after being accused of stealing over $100,000 in products from a Batavia dairy company, according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office.
It is alleged that David Cook stole property from Upstate Farms Culture Products on West AG Park Drive over a period of six months. Officials said Cook allegedly stole over $100,000 of property from the company and then resold it for financial gain.
He was released on his own recognizance after being arrested and charged with second-degree grand larceny and fostering the sale of stolen goods. He is scheduled to return to court April 29.
