Berwick youths arrested on gun, vape possession charges

BERWICK, La. (KLFY) -- Authorities found a runaway youth and arrested another juvenile on gun charges in Berwick, authorities said.
Berwick Police were investigating a runaway when officers located them. The youth then helped lead officers to a residence located on Oregon Street. A search warrant was obtained and officers recovered a stolen handgun, officials said.
The runaway was arrested on the charges of runaway juvenile and illegal possession of tobacco/vape products under 21.
The other, a 15-year-old male, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a stolen firearm and illegal possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
