Lafayette drug bust yields nearly 3.5 lbs. of cocaine, 2.75 lbs. of marijuana
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A Lafayette man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of several pounds of drugs late Thursday night, authorities said.
Louis Pradier, 49, is charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, THC edibles and cocaine, as well as other drug and gun charges.
According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, agents searched a home in the 200 block of Angelloz Street just before midnight Thursday. The search found nearly 3.5 lbs. of cocaine, about 2.75 lbs. of marijuana, over 2 lbs. of THC edibles, an AR-15 rifle and over $25,000 in cash, authorities said.
Pradier is being held without bond in the Lafayette Parish Jail. No other details were released.
The case remains under investigation, officials said.
