Shake Shack opening new Capital Region location
The iconic burger restaurant Shake Shack is opening up its first year-round, full-scale Capital Region location. The new location will be at Stuyvesant Plaza in Guilderland inside the West Avenue entrance.
Café Capriccio honored with New York State Empire Award
Café Capriccio in Albany received the New York State Empire Award on Monday. The Italian restaurant, which opened its doors in 1982, has become a staple in the Albany community.
Mother’s Day restaurant specials in the Capital Region

City Line Bar and Grill undergoing ownership transition

Chick-fil-A gets approval for Latham restaurant
After several years, Chick-fil-A has gotten site plan approval from the Town of Colonie Planning Board to move forward in Latham. The restaurant would be constructed at the former Brick House Tavern + Tap site in Latham Farms at 579 Troy Schenectady Road.
Japanese restaurant opening second location in Latham
Hana Japanese Steakhouse, located at 1620 Western Avenue in Guilderland, is getting ready to open its second location. The new restaurant will be located at 579 Troy Schenectady Road in Latham.
Cinco de Mayo restaurant events around Capital Region
On Monday, May 5, many restaurants across the Hudson Valley and Capital Region will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with events and dining specials.
Averill Park Restaurant Week participating lineup
The Averill Park Restaurant Week participating lineup has been announced. Businesses in the area will be offering three-course meals for $20.25 from April 27 to May 4.
