Kanye West Claims Kim Kardashian Has ‘Taken’ Their Kids From Him — But Sources Say He Has Access ‘Anytime’
Kanye West is making some serious allegations against his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. The rapper took to X to claim that Kardashian has “taken” their kids North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, from him and is not allowing him to “raise” them — despite sources saying the exact opposite.
First, he called out celebrities who have not defended him. “Why is the celebrity world. Jay Z Beyoncé Kendrick Rihana [sic] [A&AP] Rocky included Trump Elon Why are you all watching and letting Kim take my kids from me in real time?” he asked on X. “Yall wanna say I’m acting out cause of things in my childhood But I don’t get to be a dad.”
He also tweeted, “I HAVE TO SUPPRESS THE FACT THAT MY KIDS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME AND EVERYONE JUST WATCHES.”
In other tweets, the Yeezy founder alleged that he hasn’t seen his son Saint “this year” (despite being photographed together in January), and he wrote that he is “a good dad” and “a great father to have.”
In a since-deleted Tweet in March, per Page Six, Ye wrote, “I DONT WANT TO JUST ‘SEE’ MY KIDS. I NEED TO RAISE THEM. I NEED TO HAVE SAY SO OF WEAR [sic] THEY GO TO SCHOOL AND WHO THEIR FRIENDS ARE AND WHOS [sic] HOUSES THEY SLEEP OVER WEATHER [sic] MY DAUGHTERS WEAR LIPSTICK AND PERFUME.”
The Grammy-winner continued, “ALL THESE RIGHTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM ME BY THE KARDASHIAN MOB HULU AND DISNEY AND THE BIGGER AGENDA TO USE THE SELECTIVELY BRED BLACK CHILDREN TO BE PLATFORMS TO INFLUENCE BLACK PEOPLE.”
It’s a lot to claim against your co-parent, especially for a person with a history of problematic, vulgar, and offensive behavior.
According to the Daily Mail, West did see Saint, Chicago, and Psalm last week. A source close to Kardashian told the outlet, “Kanye has been in LA recently for a few months and didn’t ask to see the kids aside from North until a week before he was leaving again.”
The insider added, “Kanye can see the kids anytime he wants, there are no limitations, but Kim is very careful also to not put them in situations that are chaotic. Protecting her kids are first and foremost.”
Good for her! She has had to protect her kids from situations West has brought them in numerous times lately, like when she allegedly tried to stop the release of his song with Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is awaiting trial for alleged sex trafficking and more, that featured vocals from North West. Another time, she reportedly stopped a visit with West and North when she found out that Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate were also going to be there, two brothers who face human trafficking and sexual assault charges.
In an update on Wednesday, Ye made sure to let people know that “what I tweet and the rights to me raising my kids are two different subjects,” which he posted in the midst of racist and antisemitic content. He added that he “got new lawyers” in another Tweet, claiming that the “Kardashians really finna be the Nannie’s [sic].”
Surprisingly, he pivoted in another tweet to praise The Kardashians star, writing, “Kim saved North’s life.” He added, “I wasn’t ready to have a child and she made sure North made it to this earth and I will always give her credit for this.”
Things are definitely messy between these two — and for the kids’ sake, we hope they can figure out their custody agreement soon.
