Road closures in Lafayette due to heavy rains, flooding

UPDATE, 9:15 a.m.: The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced the following road closures due to standing water:
- U.S. 90 at La. 92 (both directions)
- Verot School Road from Ambassador Caffery to La. 92
UPDATE, 8:10 a.m.: According to Lafayette Police, Evangeline Thruway has now opened up along with most roadways. The underpass at Jefferson Street remains closed.
ORIGINAL STORY: LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- As a result of the current weather, Lafayette has closed down the following roadways:
- Evangeline Thruway from the tracks to Pinhook Road
- N. University at the underpass
- Some roadways in the Downtown area
- to include Jefferson Street
- 5900 block of Ambassador Caffery Pkwy
- 400 block of Moss Street
- 500 block of St. Landry Street
- 700 block of Surrey Street
- 700 Tideland Road
- 100 block of Market Place
The following roadways are also experiencing flooding as a result of the weather:
- 700 block of 11th Street
- 500 block of S. Beau Pre Road
- 2700 block of W. Pinhook Road
- 600 block of Goldman Road
- 300 block of W. Congress
- 100 block of Artisan Road
- 2100 block of Verot School Road
- 200 block of N. University
- 2600 block of Moss Street
- 400 block of 8th Street
- 400 block E. Willow Street
- 900 block of W. Congress Street
- 1500 block of Louisiana Avenue
- 300 block of Moss Street
