Shoppers rush to buy Birkenstock dupe at popular high street shop over £100 cheaper than the celeb-loved original

SHOPPERS are rushing to buy a Birkenstock dupe at a popular high street shop that is over £100 cheaper than the celeb-loved original.

The shoe with the biggest fan club has got to be the comfortable and fashion friendly Birkenstocks.

The celebrity loved Boston Clogs with their roomy rounded toes have been seen on the likes of Chrissy Teigen, Sienna Miller, Dakota Johnson, Katie Holmes and Kendall Jenner.

However, with them on sale on their website starting at £125 and ranging to £150 – the price might be steep for everyone’s budget.

But there are plenty of high-street Birkenstock dupes that still have the same cuteness and comfort.

A dupe of the popular Birkenstock Boston Clog shoes is on sale at Sport’s Direct for just £35.00, reduced from £69.99.

And unlike some other dupes, the Jack Wills sandal is made of real leather in both the upper material and lining.

The sandals have a thick rubber that is said to be “hard wearing”.

Shoppers have been rushing to buy them and the feedback has been great as one buyer said: “Just what I needed, some slippers that support the arches on my feet.”

Another said: “I bought these as I am not willing to pay an extortionate price for very similar sandals.”

“These are an excellent price and as good as if not better! Really comfortable to wear as they are a great fit and the suede is supple.

“Great value for money, so much so, I bought another colour.” added another.

The sandals come in a range of colours including tan, mocha, khaki, white and beige.

There are fur-lined options available too.

But other shops have similar bargains – the latest item to catch shoppers attention in M&S is a gorgeous suede clog.

Said to be a dupe of Birkenstock’s Boston Soft Footbed Suede clogs, they come in under a third of the price.

Best beauty dupes

Fabulous' Beauty Editor, Tara Ledden revealed the cheaper version of your favourite beauty products that you should have in your cupboard.

“A huge 55% of us would like to spend less on our beauty routines according to new research from E.l.f. Cosmetics, so it’s no wonder there’s millions of #dupe videos on Tiktok.

“While some dupes are easy to spot given their look-a-like packing, they’re often lacking when it comes to the contents.

“In fact, some of the best dupes look nothing like the luxury product they’re a dead-ringer for – and, trust me, they’re the ones you want.”

REAL: Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer, £32.50 DUPE: Natural Collection Bronzer, £3.50 which is a saving of £29. The Natural Collection Bronzer comes in more shades, although it doesn’t have a mirror in the compact.

REAL: Milk Make-up Hydro-Grip Primer, £35 DUPE: E.l.f. Power Grip Primer, £10. These two share a similar green hue, as well as the same long-wearing, mattifying properties – although, E.l.f’s is so popular it’s just as hard to get hold of.

REAL: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lipstick, £28 DUPE: L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Satin Lipstick Beige A Nu, £8.99. The shades of these two lipsticks are virtually identical on the lips, although while Charlotte Tilbury’s is matte, the L’Oreal Paris Lipstick has a satin finish – which actually makes it more comfortable if you’re wearing all day.

REAL: Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation, £40 DUPE: Collection Lasting Perfection Matte Foundation, £6.99. While they don’t look alike from the outside, the formula, consistency and staying power of both foundations is pretty similar – unfortunately, the Collection only comes in 20 shades vs Estee Lauder’s 60 options.

REAL: Glossier Boy Brow, £20 DUPE: Essence Make Me Brow Gel, £2.50. There’s a whole Reddit thread dedicated to this dupe, so you know it’s got to be good. They both have a waxy consistency and added fibres to make brows look fuller. I have to say, the shade range is far better with Boy Brow, but if you’re brunette, there’s plenty of Essence shade options to try.

The M&S pair is available in two colours: sand or olive – and are only £39.50.

The website product description reads: “These understated clogs are a modern addition to your footwear collection.

“Crafted in an easy slip-on design from suede for a premium feel. Complete with a comfortable flat heel.”

The upper part of the clog is made from leather, whilst the lining and sock are textile and outsole other materials.

The sizes range from three to eight and some half sizes are also available.

The shoes have earned a 4.6 out of five stars online with glowing reviews from happy customers.

And if you are in the mood for a little pampering beauty buffs are racing to B&M to pick up a body fragrance mist which has captured the imagination of shoppers.

Bursting with an ‘alluring pistachio and salted caramel scent’, the budget beauty brand has introduced none other than Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist.

While the original is priced at £24 for 90ml, B&M’s version of the Brazilian-inspired beauty product is available for just £2.99

A shrewd shopper told viewers in a video: “The word dupe for these products is actually an understatement is genuinely an understatement.

“This could be the exact same product just in different packaging.

I’m dead convinced these are the Sol beauty perfumes from B&M that I’ve just found and oh my god, I actually picked up two because I was that scared that they were going to sell out.

Shoppers are loving the M&S dupe which comes in at a fraction of the original price
