If you fancy planning extravagant events for the likes of Princess Kate, this role may be for you[/caption]

As part of the role, you’ll work to deliver “extraordinary events” attended by the likes of Princess Kate and King Charles, along with a host of famous faces, who have included the Beckhams and Clooneys in the past.

The events team job involves helping to coordinate royal and internal functions, including managing guests lists, writing invitations, creating admittance cards and name badges.

As you gain experience, you’ll later be able to help with arranging external contractors.

Of course, you’ll have to be very organised as a person to ensure high-profile events “run smoothly.”

The listing on the Royal Household website states: “Keeping up with a busy and ever-changing schedule will be critical.

“You’ll play a vital role within the department, effectively communicating event information to all operational teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery of each booking.

“And you’ll always be one step ahead.

“Whether you’re helping to co-ordinate a small board meeting or a Royal function for two hundred, you’ll guarantee the highest standard of delivery.”

The salary for the role, which is across Monday to Friday, is £28,000 and it includes some generous perks.

This includes a “complimentary lunch on-site to keep you fuelled throughout the day”, and 25 days holiday days, rising to 30 days depending on how long you’ve worked for the palace.

The royal household say they are looking for someone ideally who has “some relevant customer service experience” and who has “ambition to start your career in Events administration and management.”

You’ll also be a “confident communicator” and have “excellent written and verbal communication skills” to be able to form key working relationships

So if you fancy coordinating formal balls and state banquets for the royals, get your application in quick, as the deadline for candidates is April 27.

Who lives at Buckingham Palace?

BUCKINGHAM PALACE is one of the main and most important royal households with many operations going on that concern the country and how it's governed.

It’s home to some members of the Royal Family too while it being a London must-see.

Buckingham Palace is the London home to the UK sovereign, but in the case of King Charles III, he chose to keep residing in Clarence House.

There are major works going on in Buckingham Palace and that is one of the reasons why the King chose not to follow tradition.

The King and Queen Consort decided not to move into the Palace for at least five years as it’s undergoing a renovation that costs about £369million.

His mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II resided in Buckingham Palace with her family which included Prince Philip and their four children before they got married, King Charles, Princess AnnePrince Andrew and Prince Edward.

However, she did spend time away from London and would visit Windsor Castle on weekends.

She also spent summers and the last few months of her life in Balmoral.

Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms that are all used for different functions.

There are 19 State rooms while there are 92 offices.

There are many bedrooms too, 52 being for royals and guests, with 188 left for staff.
