Love Island star resigns from fashion brand leaving £139k debt as prices are slashed by 90%

OLIVIA Attwood has resigned from her luxury fashion brand, which is £139k in debt and is at risk of being struck off.

The Love Island star launched her clothing business, We Are Foolish, in November 2021 claiming that she wanted to offer “timeless wardrobe essentials” to fans seeking a high street alternative.

Within three months, it was forced to temporarily shut down due to severe delays in getting stock to customers – and Olivia, 33, stepped down from social media after feeling “run down”.

Now we can reveal more problems for the firm as Companies House has issued a strike off warning for failing to provide up-to-date accounts, which is a criminal offence.

The last accounts from 2023 reveal that the online fashion store is £139,919 in debt – and owes £275,528 to creditors.

While Olivia is still the face of the brand – she’s modelling clothes on the website’s homepage and Instagram – she quit the firm as a director last year.

As the brand’s financial fortunes slide, the We Are Foolish site is offering discounts on its clothes of up to 90 per cent off.

A black “quintessential blazer” was £175 is now going for a bargain £26.99 – and there’s dozens of offers similar to this.

The site’s blurb states that: “Foolish is a contemporary luxury brand by Olivia Attwood.

“Intentionally contradictory, Foolish embodies “acting without judgement”, a reflection of Olivia’s no-nonsense attitude, humour and personal style.”

We Are Foolish was in the works for three years before its launch four years ago at the swanky W London Hotel.

Her now husband Bradley Dack led a host of stars at the fancy launch – including Towie‘s Pete Wicks, Clelia Theodorou, Nicole Bass and Fran Parman, Love Island’s Gabby Allen and Made in Chelsea‘s Tom Dolemore.

“I’m really proud of it,” Olivia told The Sun at the time.

“I’ve grown up so much in the past four years and I think my style has evolved. There will be people my age and older who want to invest in quality pieces that will last from season to season.

Olivia’s representative has confirmed her resignation from We Are Foolish.

Love Island All Stars' Rich List

THEY came in search of love – but many walked away with far more than just a romantic connection.

From million-pound brand deals to hosting gigs and fitness empires, the stars of Love Island All Stars have made serious cash since leaving the villa.

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu leads the way with a net worth of £1.6million.

With a £1million deal with Oh Polly, a £100,000 appearance on Dancing on Ice and four million Instagram followers, she reportedly rakes in up to £10,000 per post.

Gabby Allen has also turned heartbreak into hustle.

Now worth £1.3million, the personal trainer’s fitness app and influencer deals helped her land top-tier brand partnerships.

Scott Thomas, worth an estimated £750,000, may have had a failed business venture – but he’s still bringing in money through Instagram and appearances.

Curtis Pritchard and Luca Bish are each worth around £400,000. Curtis has boosted his income through dancing gigs, Weight Watchers partnerships and a new investment app, while Luca’s celebrity connections and Instagram lifestyle help keep his bank balance healthy.

Kaz Crossley, now worth £250,000, swapped makeup for Muay Thai – and walked away with a $250,000 prize from The Challenge World Championship.

Marcel Somerville is estimated to be worth £100,000, while Elma Pazar and Nas Majeed are reportedly earning up to £1.7k and £1.4k per Instagram post, respectively – proving there’s still plenty of money to be made in the world of reality TV.
