‘The Masked Singer’ exclusive clip: Rita Ora says Mad Scientist Monster is this Grammy-nominated superstar

The Masked Singer's resident lab expert, Rita Ora, believes she has cracked the formula for unmasking the Mad Scientist Monster's identity. After analyzing the clue package on "The Soundtrack of My Life" episode of the Fox reality singing competition, Rita confidently names Grammy-nominated superstar Jelly Roll as the voice behind the purple crooner. Her guess came as the top five contestants hit the stage for the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

In an exclusive preview clip below, Rita lays out her theory about who is hiding behind the Mad Scientist Monster mask.

"I think this could be Jelly Roll," Rita tells her co-panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, and Ken Jeong. "Let me tell you why! He's got a wife — her name is [Bunnie XO] — who I love on Instagram and on her podcast. I'm obsessed with her energy and she has been holding him down, honey! That's my guess."

It’s "Soundtrack of My Life Night" on The Masked Singer this Wednesday, and the top five contestants are bringing their A-game! The night kicks off with a pitch-perfect group performance of "More Than a Feeling," setting the stage for fun-tastic evening. Each masked singer will perform a song that holds special meaning to them, with personal insights shared by those closest to them.

The final five will bring down the house with powerful renditions of "Sk8er Boi," "Million Reasons," "Golden Hour," "Your Love," and "The Scientist." But by the end of the night, one celebrity will have to unmask, leaving the remaining contestants to advance to the semi-finals.

Coral, Boogie Woogie, Mad Scientist Monster, and Pearl have moved on to this season's quarterfinals.
