Post Malone’s Mysterious Ex-Fiancée Files for Sole Physical Custody of 3-Year-Old Daughter
More details are slowly emerging about Post Malone’s ex-fiancée as the two head to court to settle their ongoing custody battle over their soon-to-be 3-year-old daughter. The singer’s former partner, who was known as “Jamie” to fans, was named “Hee Sung ‘Jamie’ Park” in new legal documents, per OK!
In recent Los Angeles court filings, Park allegedly requested primary physical custody of their daughter (whose name has not been revealed), joint legal custody, and that legal fees be covered by Post Malone. The outlet also claims that Park asked that Post Malone only be granted visitation rights.
In a possibly strategic move, the “Rockstar” singer had already filed his own custody request (50/50, please!) in Utah. Sources told TMZ that Post Malone chose the Beehive State for financial reasons. California reportedly allows for higher child support payments, so Post Malone could save a lot of money compared to his child support-paying peers if the case stays in Utah.
And based on a 2023 interview, we know those savings would be important to him. During an episode of Call Her Daddy, podcast host Alex Cooper asked the rapper what he thinks his best skill was as a new dad. “Having money,” he quipped. And that certainly is a great “skill” to have when diapers are on your shopping list!
“As of right now, it’s good for the baby and good for the mom, and I think that’s about the only skill I have, really,” he said. “Sometimes I’ll play guitar with her, which is an alright skill, but they’re like ‘Put the f*cking guitar away, I want the new Fisher-Price deal.”
The girl dad then joked that he thinks his then 1-year-old already knew the code to his credit card. “That’ll be her first word, my credit card number,” he said.
But if what he said about fatherhood two years ago is still true, it ultimately won’t matter to Post Malone where the custody case takes place, as long as he gets to see his little girl. “I’m the happiest I’ve ever been; I’ll pay all the money in the world,” he told Cooper.
