4/22/2025: Clearing skies, spectacular days ahead
The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
A passing front brough clouds and showers overnight and into early this morning - but high pressure moving in behind it is already clearing us out.
With more sunshine, temperatures will rise into the 60's for most. While the mountains up north may struggle to get out of the 50's, some in the Mid-Hudson Valley may get into the low 70's.
With mostly clear skies, tonight looks a bit cooler - though it will still be slightly above average with lows in the low to mid 40's for most. A few spots in the Adirondacks may drop into the 30's.
Tomorrow looks like a stunner, with clear skies in the morning and only a few more clouds moving in for the afternoon. Temperatures look similar, with 60's for most and low 70's for a select few locations south of the Capital District.
After a crisp start, Thursday afternoon looks even warmer with most spots in the low 70's. Similar temperatures Friday, with more clouds developing and showers in the evening.
Saturday looks cloudy and rainy at times, wit ha breeze and highs in the mid 60's. Sunday is brighter, but still breezy and with highs again in the mid 60's. A bit warmer for Monday, with highs closer to 70.
