New President and CEO of Topeka Civic Theatre & Academy joins morning show
TOPEKA (KSNT)—Dan Decker, the new President and CEO of the Topeka Civic Theatre and Academy, joined the 27 News morning show to discuss his volunteer experience, what he hopes to bring to the theatre, current shows, and more.
27 News asked Decker what he looks forward to bringing to the theatre.
"I think the biggest thing I want to bring to the theatre is just more of the same, to be honest," Decker said. "It's just such a wonderful culture that's been created and with over 400 volunteers and dedicated full-time and part-time staff. I just want to be part of the wonderful organization and just do everything I can do to keep perpetuating what is already there."
According to a press release, Decker will succeed Vickie Brokke, current president and CEO, upon her retirement on June 3.
