Whether you’re planning a big birthday blowout, a boozy catch-up with mates, or just a cheeky Friday night pint, there’s a city out there calling your name.

Research has now shown that Bath have beaten the likes of London, Leeds, and Brighton to be crowned the best night out in Britain.

The historic city bagged the top spot, boasting a staggering 38 clubs and 260 pubs per 10,000 people.

That’s more than enough to keep the party going all night long.

Spots like The Bell, Komedia, and The Saracens Head are just some of the local faves driving up the city’s impressive 4.3-star average venue rating.

Thanks to its compact size, steady student crowd, and swarms of tourists, Bath has a buzzing, walkable party vibe that’s hard to beat.

Coming in hot at number two is Leeds, Yorkshire’s nightlife capital.

It may have fewer venues – 30 clubs and 103 pubs per 10,000 people – but what it lacks in quantity, it makes up for in quality.

The city scores a solid 4.4 average rating, proving it knows how to throw a proper party.

From underground dance spots to big-name DJ events, Leeds has something for everyone.

Brighton rounds out the top three, serving up seaside vibes with a party twist.

The south coast stunner features 21 clubs and 120 pubs per 10,000 people, and its nightlife is nothing short of legendary.

Known for its LGBTQ+ friendly venues, live music, and quirky cocktail bars, Brighton’s nightlife scene is as colourful as the city itself and boasts a 4.4 rating.

Sneaking into fourth place is Reading, a commuter town that’s punching well above its weight when it comes to nightlife.

Coming in fifth, Stoke’s nightlife is on the rise, with a loyal local crowd keeping pubs and clubs full to the brim.

Oxford might be famous for its brains, but it’s also proving it knows how to let its hair down in sixth place.

At number seven, Derby is making serious moves on the UK nightlife map.

Affordable drinks, friendly crowds, and a solid mix of venues make it ideal for a no-fuss, all-fun night out.

York might be steeped in history, but it’s definitely not stuck in the past.

Ranking eighth, this walled city offers cosy pubs, stylish cocktail spots, and clubs that keep things going until late.

Coming in at number nine, Wolverhampton is flying the flag for the West Midlands.

Rounding out the top 10 is Cambridge, where it’s not all punting and poetry.

The city’s nightlife scene is thriving, thanks in part to its massive student population.
