Woman critically injured in Victorian Village hit-skip
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Columbus police say an attempted theft turned into a pedestrian hit-and-run just north of the Arena District early Monday morning.
Officers were called to the intersection of Dennison Avenue and West Second Avenue in Victorian Village on reports of pedestrian struck by a vehicle just after 3 a.m. One person was critically injured in what police called a hit-and-run.
Police confirmed at the scene that at least one suspect attempted to steal a woman’s purse before she was dragged by the car. The suspects are believed to be driving a blue car.
The woman was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
