1. Pope Francis dies at 88
Pope Francis, history’s first Latin American pontiff who charmed the world with his humble style and concern for the poor but alienated conservatives with critiques of capitalism and climate change, died Monday. He was 88.

The daughters of Brian Jenkins are still searching for answers after their dad went missing near Albany, 10 years ago on Saturday.
3. Anti-Trump protesters rally in New York, Washington and elsewhere across the country
Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration took to the streets of communities large and small across the U.S. on Saturday, decrying what they see as threats to the nation’s democratic ideals. Within the Capital Region, protests were held in Troy, Albany, Saratoga Springs and other locations.
4. 150 volunteer hours spent cleaning vandalized museum
Clean-up efforts are underway at the Hudson River Mill Museum after it was allegedly vandalized Monday morning by three juveniles. Museum employees are still devastated but said they are feeling the love from the local community and volunteers who have helped work to get the building back in order.
