4/21/2025: Showers return
The latest Storm Tracker Forecast from meteorologist Matt Mackie:
An approaching weather system is already sending more clouds our way as it works its way across the Great Lakes.
Showers could roll into the Mohawk Valley, Adirondacks, and North County by early afternoon. Even though it's looking more unsettled, temperatures will steadily rise to around the 60 degree mark.
We will all see showers closer to sunset, with on and off rain continuing for much of the night. It will also get a bit breezy, with those winds blowing in from the south and keeping us relatively mild.
Rain will have mostly ended by daybreak, and skies will gradually clear through tomorrow morning. It looks like a spectacular afternoon to follow, with highs in the upper 60's.
Nice bright, and only slightly cooler for Wednesday with highs in the mid 60's. We'll be up around 70 on both Thursday & Friday.
Another round of showers moves in late Friday and into the day Saturday. Sunday is brighter and dry, but cooler - still, with highs near 60, it looks like a fairly nice finish to the weekend.
