Easter celebration takes place in North Topeka
TOPEKA (KSNT) - People in Topeka came out on Saturday, April 19, to celebrate Easter.
The Topeka easter fest and parade took place at the Great Overland Station. There was live music, food trucks, and a petting zoo. Families even enjoyed games and browsed the vendor tents.
Some vendors sold hand-made items specifically for easter.
"I think it's important because it creates community. I love these events," Vendor, Catherine Tanner said. "I like just being able to be here and celebrate easter."
This is the 10th year of the easter celebration.
