Stacey Solomon left red-faced by ‘humbling’ wardrobe malfunction & says it’s a sign she’s ‘stretching herself too thin’
STACEY Solomon has been left red-faced by her son’s ‘humbling’ wardrobe malfunction.
The Sort Your Life Out host and cleaning fanatic, 35, recently received an embarrassing call from Rex’s school and claimed her error was a sign she was ‘stretching herself too thin’.
In a recent episode of the Loose Women star’s new self-titled fly on the wall series alongside hubby Joe Swash, 43, Stacey was faced with her awkward blunder – and it left viewers in hysterics.
Mum-of-five Stacey, who is mother to Zachary, 17, Leighton, 12, Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, was left with a missed call from Rex’s primary school teacher, Mrs Woods.
After getting in touch with the teacher, Stacey, who recently revealed that her family has got even bigger as she celebrated the arrival of four new ‘babies’ at her £1.2 million Essex home, Pickle Cottage, said: “Good morning, it’s only me, it’s only Stacey, Rex’s mum.”
To this, the teacher then explained: “Hello, I’ve just tried to ring you.
“He’s wearing two odd trainers and they’re both the same foot.
“Two left trainers on from two different pairs of shoes.”
Trying to see the funny side of the embarrassing blunder, Stacey joked: “That is hilarious.
“Oh it’s the story of my life Mrs Woods.
“I’ll bring him some in. I’ll make sure I’m there before he goes to lunch.”
Moments later, Stacey, who has two dogs – Teddy and Peanut – along with four ducks and four new ducklings, spoke to the camera and admitted: “There’s nothing that will humble you more than a call from the school to say your kids’ wearing two left feet.”
The busy mum, who first rose to fame after appearing on The X Factor back in 2009 and is now said to be ‘horrified’ after receiving backlash from her new reality TV show, then confessed: “I mean, if that isn’t a sign that you’re stretching yourself too thin, I don’t know what is.”

The BBC clip, which has since been re-shared on TikTok, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 140,000 views in just 17 hours.
It’s also amassed 5,600 likes, 437 shares and 163 saves.

Stacey’s fans were left ‘howling’ at the embarrassing blunder and many rushed to the comments, eager to express this.
Not only this, but viewers also raced to share their own very awkward school errors.
