Will 'The Wheel of Time' Season 4 Happen? Showrunner Gives Update on Possible Renewal News!
The third season of Prime Video’s The Wheel of Time television series just came to an end and fans are wondering if they’ll get a fourth season.
Amazon has not yet ordered season four, but the third season had an open-ended conclusion, so there’s definitely the hope that a renewal will happen.
The Wheel of Time showrunner Rafe Judkins has opened up about the possibility of more episodes of the show, which stars Rosamund Pike.

“That is the same thing that I’ve been sort of asking Amazon,” Judkins told THR about wanting a renewal. “What is the end game for the show? I really want to deliver this full series, so how do we best do that?”
Judkins added, “I think one reason we went with Amazon, because we had options of who was going to buy the series when we first went out with it, is that Amazon felt like a place where they do want to invest in shows for the long term. There’s not a lot of places doing that anymore.”
“For Wheel of Time, it’s really important for us to be somewhere that does want to invest in shows for the long term and not just for the splash and leave… The books get better as they go and the show is getting better as it goes. I think we can continue that arc if we’re allowed to continue… I think it’s important for television. It’s what we do best and so we should be finishing these stories,” Judkins said.
In another interview with EW, Judkins added, “The great shows of television past really hit their stride in season 3 and 4, and I think that’s what this show in this series has the potential to do and just keep getting better from here. So we’re all very eager to continue this story and finish it.”
It seems like there is definitely the hope that season four will happen!
Rand al’Thor actor Josha Stradowski told Collider, “Yeah, we’re confident that a fourth season will be greenlit.”
There was a nearly two-year gap between each season, so it’s likely that a fourth season will not air until the end of 2026 or sometime in 2027.
