Lancaster jumps into fun with new indoor bounce house
LANCASTER, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A local man has been bringing inflatable bounce houses to the Village of Lancaster for about 15 years. Now, he's bringing them to one designated area, the Lancaster Indoor Inflatable Bounce House.
“You know, I've been in other places when my kids were little that, you walked into these bounce house places and it just felt like a warehouse,” said Frank Vecere, owner of Lancaster Indoor Bounce House. “I didn't want that, so we went for a very relaxed tropical feel, where you feel like you’re in your backyard.”
Like your own own backyard, Vecere prides himself and his business on safety. There are employees that walk around and monitor the kids, so parents can get a break and enjoy some complimentary coffee or tea.
The new business opened last Saturday and has been providing family friendly fun ever since, complete with nine bounce houses, safari pals stuff and fluff, and other activities to keep kids busy.
“We tried to not leave out anything," said Vecere. "We have stuff for families, we have charging stations, we have private parties with private rooms, we have chalkboards that the kids can draw on, we have our own bathrooms in here, we have a beautiful snack shack, and again it's a very comfortable, relaxed, chill feeling in here."
As of right now, children 12 and under can bounce at the Lancaster Indoor Bounce House, but the business will be adding a new arcade at the end of May for older children and young adults.
“It's 1,000 square feet and it’s going to have all kinds of games," said Vecere. "It's going to have games from crane games to video games, we're going to have the prize area that’s another shack that’s built over there where the kids will be able to cash in what they won and get a prize for it."
Lancaster Indoor Bounce House is opens at 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Sunday. Open play rates start at $25 with two hours per child. For more information you can visit their website here.
