Active dog who loves pup cups is up for adoption
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - Meet Leonardo! This handsome pup is currently up for adoption at the Franklin County Dog Shelter.
Leonardo is a 2-year-old medium mixed breed who's described as very active and independent, according to shelter staff. Some of his favorite activities include going on hikes, playing fetch, being outside and meeting new people.
Shelter staff say Leonardo is a great companion and has done OK with other dogs. It's recommended that he meets with resident dogs before adoption. Leonardo also walks well on leash but can be strong at times.
One thing Leonardo absolutely loves: pup cups. Shelter staff say he's a big fan of the tasty treat and would be a great buddy to join you on your weekly coffee trips. Right now, Leonardo knows how to sit, but is very treat motivated and would love to learn new commands.
If you are interested in Leonardo, you can meet with her at the shelter for a meet and greet at 4340 Tamarack Blvd. He is available for adoption or you can also foster to adopt.
