MTA worker attacked with walker in Queens subway station: NYPD
QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) --- An MTA worker was beat with a walker while clearing out a train in a Queens subway station Thursday morning, police said.
The man was attacked on the platform of the southbound A train in the Howard Beach subway station at around 2:40 a.m., according to the NYPD.
While clearing out the train, the 58-year-old woman got mad and allegedly started hitting the MTA employee with her walker, police said.
The victim was taken to the hospital with bodily pain and swelling, authorities said.
The woman was arrested and charged with assault, cops said.
