Man pleads guilty to having over a pound of cocaine in Albany
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A man with ties to Albany and Troy pleaded guilty to having narcotics with the intent to sell, per the Albany County District Attorney. David Colon, 44, previously served prison time for playing a role in a drug trafficking operation in 2022.
The Albany County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant on a Lexington Avenue home in Albany in November of 2024. They reported finding Colon with 552 grams, more than a pound, of cocaine and 171 grams of fentanyl.
Colon will be sentenced on June 13 to nine years in prison with three years of post-release supervision.
