'Star Wars: Episode III' returning to local theaters for 20th anniversary
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Grab your lightsaber and popcorn! To commemorate the 20th anniversary of its Spring 2005 theatrical release, "Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith" will be returning to local theaters at the end of April, just ahead of Star Wars Day on May 4.
"Revenge of the Sith" tells the tale of Anakin Skywalker, a strong Jedi warrior who struggles to achieve the power, security, and respect that he desires, portraying his fall to the Dark Side of the Force, and his transition into the infamous imperial enforcer, Darth Vader. The film, starring Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Ian McDiarmid, is the sixth of nine main movies in the "Star Wars" saga and the third movie of the "prequel trilogy."
Regal Cinemas theaters in Colonie Center, Crossgates Mall, East Greenbush and Clifton Park will all be presenting numerous showings of "Episode III." The screenings will run between April 24 and April 30.
You can buy "Revenge of the Sith" tickets at each theater's box office or online through the Regal website. May the Force be with you!
