“I’m such a mom. I was ready to go in here myself and be like, ‘Taylor, come get this girl,’” she said about wanting to try and get her daughter an autograph, but said she understood that it maybe wasn’t the right time. “It’s hard when your team is losing. I totally get it.”
While they waited outside the suite, hoping to see Taylor, they didn’t get a chance. Serena added, “My husband and I, we’re so in a different space. We’re so connected, we’re so in love, we’re just, like, trying to get our daughter Taylor Swift autographs. And nothing else.”
She also commented on the stadium booing Taylor, saying, “Why would you boo her? That’s so mean. That’s just awful.”
