Boy, 14, stabbed in the face in Midtown: NYPD
MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) – The NYPD is searching for the suspect accused of stabbing a 14-year-old boy in Midtown on Wednesday.
It happened near the Port Authority Bus Terminal along 8th Avenue between 43rd and 44th streets around 7 p.m., according to authorities. Police said the teenager was stabbed just above his left eye.
The victim was then rushed to a local hospital in critical condition, according to authorities. Police said he is in stable condition as of Thursday morning.
The motive for the attack remains unclear. Police said no arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
