Nate Bargatze will host the 2025 Emmys
Nate Bargatze is your 2025 Emmys host.
The comedian will host the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, which will air live on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS and stream live and on demand on Paramount+.
"It's a huge honor to be asked to host such an iconic awards show and I'm beyond excited to work with CBS to create a night that can be enjoyed by families around the world," Bargatze said in a statement.
Bargatze, whose Nate Bargatze's Nashville Christmas aired on CBS in December, could find himself a double Emmy nominee this year as well. His latest Netflix stand-up special Your Friend, Nate Bargatze is eligible this year (his 2021 special The Greatest Average American earned him a Grammy nomination); he is also eligible as Best Comedy Guest Actor for his hosting stint on Saturday Night Live in October, which featured a new version of his "Washington's Dream" sketch that went viral in 2023.

Emmy nominations will be announced on Tuesday, July 15. The Creative Arts Emmys will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 7.
