WrestleMania 41 preview: WWE betting tips and predictions ahead of the Vegas showdown

THE WWE pulls into the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this weekend for WrestleMania 41, the biggest event on the company’s calendar.

John Cena will look to make history and claim a record-breaking 17th WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes, while CM Punk, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns will headline the opening night of the show.

It promises to be a weekend of unpredictable action, which means there are some excellent betting opportunities available for punters. Join me as I take a look at all of the WrestleMania 41 odds and pick out some value bets.

Quick Wrestlemania 41 betting tips

WrestleMania 41 – Night 1

WrestleMania 41 – Night 2

About WrestleMania

WrestleMania is the biggest event on the WWE calendar. The show, which takes place every April, is the culmination of months of storytelling and is often used to elevate new stars to the top of the industry.

It is one of the year’s big-five events, with Money in the Bank and Summerslam taking place in August, Survivor Series in November, and then the Royal Rumble in January to determine who will main event WrestleMania.

This year’s WrestleMania, the show’s 41st edition, is special for a number of reasons. It is the first time the show has been held in Las Vegas since WrestleMania 9 in 1993 (notoriously, the worst Mania of all time), and it is also the first WrestleMania to be streamed live on Netflix. As such, fans can expect the WWE to pull out all of the big guns as they hope to set Sin City on fire this weekend.

WrestleMania Night One card

WrestleMania weekend kicks off with Night One, where four titles will be put on the line, including the World Heavyweight Championship and the WWE Women’s Championship.

Despite these titles being on the line, the night will be headlined by the highly anticipated triple threat between Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns. Let’s take a look at who the bookies think will pick up the big wins this weekend.

World Heavyweight Championship

The jury is still out on whether or not giving Jey Uso the Royal Rumble victory was the right move, but it’s sink or swim time this weekend. Uso is heavily favoured at 1/8 with BetMGM, with Gunther out at 4/1.

While I personally am not convinced Jey is ready for a main event title run, and I don’t think having Gunther lose at consecutive Manias is a smart move, it would be foolish to bet against Jey bringing home the gold here.

Bet on Jey Uso to win the World Heavyweight Championship at 1/8 with BetMGM

WWE Women’s Championship

The feud between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair has really kicked up a notch in the last few weeks, and it has become one of the most heated feuds of the year heading into Mania. Betrino has Charlotte priced at 4/5 and Tiffany at 9/10.

My instinct with this match has always been Stratton, and I’m sticking to my guns here. A win for Charlotte would make little sense, and while she is the WWE’s golden female, there are very few benefits to having her beat one of its fastest rising stars on the Grandest Stage of them all.

Tip Tiffany Stratton for WWE Women’s Championship at 9/10 with Betrino

Seth Rollins vs CM Punk vs Roman Reigns

The main event of night one is one of the hardest matches to call of the weekend, and this is reflected in the bookie’s odds. While there is nothing on the line other than the pride, the roll of Paul Heyman in this feud has made for compelling viewing, and all three men have played their part perfectly in the build.

Seth Rollins is the favourite at 9/10 with LiveScore Bet. The Architect initially felt like a third wheel in this feud, but as the night draws closer, an alliance between him and Heyman looks increasingly likely. Reigns is out at 14/5, and while I would not usually bet against the Tribal Chief, he does feel like the outsider here.

Bet on Seth Rollins as the winner of Tripple Threat Match at 9/10 with LiveScore Bet

Other highlights of night 1

WWE has put together a stacked card for night one of WrestleMania 41, with two titles up for grabs and several feuds to settle. Jade Cargill is the strongest favourite of the whole weekend for her match against Naomi, with BetMGM pricing her at 1/5 with Naomi out at 3/1.

Jacob Fatu is also backed to grab his first taste of singles gold in the WWE, with BetMGM pricing him at 7/20 to defeat LA Knight, who is at 39/20. An upset could be on the cards with this one, with Solo Sikoa lingering in the background. However, a future feud between Fatu and Sikoa is significantly elevated by the presence of the US title.

Rey Mysterio and El Grande Americano should provide plenty of fun, with Mysterio narrowly favoured at 8/11 with Betrino, with Americano/Chad Gable at evens. Of all the matches on Night One, this is the one where I anticipate the most shenanigans, with the LWO and American Made both likely to get involved.

Finally, the War Raiders put their tag titles on the line against the New Day in what is another incredibly hard match to call. No odds were available at the time of writing, but I would keep your eyes peeled and look to back the New Day if they offer value.

WrestleMania Night Two card

WrestleMania 41 features the weekend’s biggest match, with John Cena and Cody Rhodes going face-to-face for the WWE Championship. Let’s take a look at how that match is likely to play out, as well as some of the other big matches from the night.

Women’s World Heavyweight Championship

Night two will have its very own unpredictable triple threat match when Iyo Sky puts her Women’s World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley.

The build for this has also been very strong, and any of the three women involved could feasibly walk away with the belt in hand. Bianca Belair is the favourite at 10/13, while Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley are available at 27/10 and 17/10 with LiveScore Bet, respectively. This one does feel like a coin toss, but I think Iyo Sky offers value at 17/10.

Bet on Iyo Sky for the Women’s World Heavyweight at 17/10 with LiveScore Bet

Undisputed WWE Championship

The biggest match of the weekend will feature Cody Rhodes putting his WWE title on the line against John Cena. Cena’s retirement year took an unexpected turn last month when he turned heel, and the WWE has the perfect opportunity to grant him his record-breaking title win in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

Cena is priced at 8/25 with BetMGM, while Cody is at 21/10 to retain. Cena’s heel turn has all of the momentum in the world right now, and he has the chance to steal headlines around the world this weekend. As such, I’m backing him to win.

Bet on John Cena to retain his WWE title at 8/25 with BetMGM

Other highlights of night 2

Night Two promises to be just as explosive as Night One. The Intercontinental Fatal Four-way is certainly shaping up to be one of the most unpredictable weekend encounters. Dominik Mysterio has emerged as the favourite, with some bookies backing him around 2/5, with Penta and Bron Breakker both sitting at 5/2.

It looks to be a good weekend for Judgment Day, with Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez being backed to keep their hands on their titles. They are available at 1/5 with LiveScore Bet, with Bayley & Lyra Valkyria at 3/1.

Elsewhere, Logan Paul is narrowly tipped to get the better of AJ Styles. He is priced at 2/5, with AJ at 17/10. Personally, I think there is some value in backing AJ in this one. Like all of Paul’s Mania matches, you can expect some sort of influencer/celebrity appearance here.

Finally, Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest will go toe-to-toe. Drew is backed at 1/6 with LiveScore Bet, with Priest out at 7/2. Drew has been one of WWE’s most consistent performers over the last 12 months, and a win at Mania will be a nice reward for his efforts.

Some storylines to look out for

WrestleMania is the culmination of the last year’s worth of storytelling from the WWE, but naturally, some storylines take precedence over others.

The night’s biggest story is undoubtedly John Cena attempting to capture a record-breaking 17th World Championship in what will be his final WrestleMania match. His heel turn has dominated headlines in the wrestling world for the last month, and fans will be eager to see how this translates in the ring. Of course, there is also the lingering question of The Rock’s involvement, with The Final Boss putting the wheels in motion for this turn.

Night one’s main event will also bring together several stories from the last year. CM Punk and Seth Rollins have been long-time rivals, while Roman Reigns also has major issues with both men. Throw in Paul Heyman, and you’ll get fans hooked. The match could go any of three ways, and given Paul Heyman’s involvement, elements of this story are likely to continue long past WrestleMania.

Elsewhere, Jey Uso will look to finally overcome the odds and prove himself when he takes on Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. Some questionable booking has marred Gunther’s reign, and the verdict is still out on Jey Uso as world champion material. Regardless, the two men are still likely to deliver an excellent match in Vegas.

What’s new for this year’s WrestleMania?

There is the potential for some late additions to this year’s WrestleMania card that could be worth keeping an eye on. The last edition of SmackDown could present some surprises, with Randy Orton’s opponent for the night yet to be revealed following Kevin Owens pulling out due to injury.

There is also the potential for The Rock to appear either on the night or be announced beforehand. His presence in the main event would no doubt benefit John Cena. The Great One has not been seen since Elimination Chamber, where he and Travis Scott teamed with Cena in one of the most shocking moments in recent WWE history.

Since the show is in Vegas, fans should expect the unexpected on the night. Last year’s WrestleMania main event was full of shock appearances, with John Cena, The Rock, and The Undertaker all showing up to cause chaos.

How to bet on WrestleMania

If you want to bet on WrestleMania 41 this weekend, you can get started by following these steps:

  1. If you are not registered with a bookmaker offering wrestling odds, sign up for one using the links provided in this article, or among our favourite betting apps
  2. Don’t forget to claim the free bets betting offer if it is available.
  3. Once you are registered and/or logged in, you can find the wrestling markets by checking the listed sports. With some bookies, WWE will have its section listed under WWE or wrestling, whereas others may list it under novelty/specials, or even TV markets.
  4. Click on the WrestleMania match you want to bet on. Most bookmakers will list all matches in one place and do not divide them by night.
  5. Add your selection to your betting slip and enter your stake.
  6. Double-check everything is correct and hit place bet.
  7. Sit back, load up Netflix, and enjoy WrestleMania 41.

When and where to watch WrestleMania 41

As I’ve already mentioned in this WWE WrestleMania 41 betting guide, this will be the first edition of WrestleMania to be broadcast live on Netflix. UK fans and fans worldwide will be able to catch the show live on Netflix at no additional cost. And don’t worry if you miss it live, it will be immediately available on Netflix straight after.

The show will broadcast live on Sunday and Monday morning in the UK, starting at midnight on both nights.
